Story: A Search That Leads Into the Unknown

Japan, the year 20██.

Without warning, mysterious areas known as Anomaly Zones begin appearing across the country. These strange places defy the laws of nature, and anyone who enters risks never making it back.

Seventeen-year-old Reona Minazuki loses contact with her best friend, Arisa Kato, after an ordinary shopping trip takes a terrifying turn. When the mall they are visiting undergoes Anomalization, the two girls become separated. Determined to find Arisa at ANOMALITH, Reona joins the government-backed Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office and trains as a Diver, someone tasked with entering these dangerous spaces.

Her first Dive quickly becomes a disaster. As other Divers fall to the horrors within the Zone, Reona awakens to an unusual power and emerges as the sole survivor. Rather than turn away from the danger, she chooses to return to the Anomaly Zones and venture further into their depths.

Enter the Anomaly Zones, fight to survive, and challenge a fate that was never meant to be hers.

Survival in ANOMALITH revolves around entering Anomaly Zones, gathering valuable resources, and finding a way back out. These hostile environments are filled with strange creatures known as Anomalies, and encounters can quickly turn dangerous in ANOMALITH.

Every expedition requires careful planning. Ammunition is limited, so choosing when to fight and which items to collect can make the difference between a successful extraction and a failed mission. Exploring further may offer better rewards, but staying too long comes with its own risks.

Combat, Skills, and Equipment Upgrades

Anomalies pose a serious threat, making weapon selection an important part of every encounter. Different situations call for different approaches, so managing available firepower and choosing suitable weapons are key to staying alive.

Reona can also use Anomalization Skills for both offense and defense. These abilities add another layer to combat, offering ways to handle enemies and shift the momentum of a fight when ordinary weapons aren’t enough.

Objects recovered during Dives have uses beyond collecting them. The Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office can study these strange materials and use them to develop and upgrade weapons and gear. Better equipment can provide an advantage when facing the increasingly dangerous environments hidden within the Zones.
