Love is causing quite a mess at Ayanohara Academy once again. This time, the spotlight falls on Reona, the school’s famous “Prince,” and Mahiro, a rebellious aristocrat who has never been comfortable with her cross-dressing life.

Neither of them expected to become involved with the other in Trap Yuri Tempest. Yet a strange turn of events brings them together, setting off a romance filled with comedy, unexpected turns, and plenty of emotional chaos.

Set in the prestigious Ayanohara Academy, Trap Yuri Tempest follows another group of “traps” as they get caught up in an unusual love story.

And this time, there is a rather important question to answer: which of the two will pull the other into this whirlwind of romance first?

When Unrequited Love Gets Out of Hand

Ayanohara Academy is going through an unusual romantic craze. Reona has become the target of confession after confession thanks to her charm, appearance, and reputation as the academy’s one and only Prince.

The problem? Every single advance gets turned down.

With broken hearts piling up and love-related incidents becoming a regular problem, the student council is running out of patience. Asuka, better known as the “Empress of the Rose Garden,” decides that enough is enough. Her solution is as bold as it is unreasonable: Reona needs a lover, and she needs one immediately.

Unfortunately for Mahiro, Asuka’s younger sister happens to be considered the perfect candidate.

Mahiro openly insists that dating boys is not something she cares about, and she already has a complicated relationship with her own cross-dressing identity. Being pushed toward Reona is about the last thing she wants.

Still, fate has other plans.

Mahiro has never been fond of her family’s rigid traditions. Her decision to dress as a delinquent-style gyaru is partly an act of rebellion, especially because she initially disliked cross-dressing altogether at Trap Yuri Tempest.

Ironically, the look suits her far better than she would like to admit. She ends up looking like an adorable gyaru despite all her efforts to push against the expectations surrounding her.

Mahiro gets along with Iori, another student who stands somewhat outside the academy’s usual social circles. Reona, however, is a completely different story. She absolutely cannot stand her.

Reona Murasaki — The Prince and Silver Princess

Reona is a half-Japanese, half-foreign “otome” type whose appearance and mannerisms have earned her the nickname of the academy’s Prince. Since she normally does not cross-dress, she is something of an outsider despite her immense popularity.

Her charisma, beauty, and noble background quickly make her the most recognizable student at Ayanohara Academy.

Then everything changes when she decides to cross-dress herself.
