Survive the Dangers of Protea VI
Dusk City PC Free Download
Playing as Moadra, an elite warrior searching for answers, the journey leads through a vast, interconnected world where every new area brings fresh dangers. Beneath the planet’s barren surface lies a dark history tied to a forgotten civilization, a terrifying plague, and a past that refuses to stay buried.
The story begins when Moadra arrives on Protea VI as part of a mission to locate a missing research expedition led by the princess of her homeworld. The search quickly takes a disturbing turn. A deadly infection known as the Blight has spread through the research facility and its surrounding regions, corrupting nearly every living organism it touches. With most creatures ready to attack on sight, survival depends on quick reactions, smart upgrades, and a willingness to explore the unknown.
Explore, Fight, and Uncover Hidden Paths
Protea VI offers a sprawling network of interconnected locations, from windswept deserts and freezing mountain peaks to research facilities overrun by aggressive alien life. Each region holds its own threats, puzzles, and hidden routes, giving exploration a rewarding sense of discovery. The planet also carries the remains of a civilization whose ancestors vanished 20,000 years ago, leaving behind mysteries that gradually come to light throughout the adventure.
Moadra’s agility makes getting around one of the more enjoyable aspects of Moadra. She can roll, dodge, leap, slide along walls, perform wall jumps, and sprint across dangerous terrain at impressive speeds. Rolling is even faster than running, while rolling jumps help cover longer gaps and reach distant platforms. New movement skills become available as the journey progresses, and certain weapons double as tools for accessing otherwise unreachable areas.
Combat starts with a basic blaster and a healing ability with limited charges. Resting at save points restores those charges, making them important stops during longer expeditions.
Upgrade Weapons and Evolve Moadra’s Abilities
Defeated enemies leave behind Protoplasm, an energy-rich form of biomass used to improve weapons and abilities. Collecting enough of it allows Moadra to grow stronger and handle increasingly dangerous encounters. Upgrades can be changed freely at save points, including resetting previous choices, so trying different builds doesn’t mean wasting hard-earned resources.
Special abilities rely on Bioplasm, which works much like mana in other action games. The gauge generally won’t refill on its own, although certain enemies drop charges that restore some of it. Resting at a save point also replenishes the supply. Keeping an eye on Bioplasm becomes especially important later in the adventure, when special abilities are often needed to reach hidden areas or overcome difficult obstacles.

Features of Moadra:
- Master the Challenges and Discover the Truth
- The combination of hostile wildlife, dangerous environmental conditions, and a sprawling research complex keeps the adventure challenging without relying on combat alone.
- As Moadra uncovers more of the Blight’s effects and the secrets surrounding her lost Neera heritage, the mission becomes about more than finding the missing expedition. It’s a fight to understand what happened on Protea VI, confront the horrors left behind, and survive long enough to uncover the truth.
- There is also a useful scanning tool that adds another layer to exploration. Activating Moadra’s scanner bot provides an X-ray view of nearby creatures and surroundings, helping reveal concealed passages and secret locations that would otherwise be easy to miss. The scanner can also map explored areas, making it easier to keep track of the planet’s extensive layout.
