Not Quite Dead: Open World Survival is inspired by classic survival games such as Surroundead, DayZ, and Miscreated. You’re still breathing…

Open-World Survival • Zombies • Base Building • Looting • Crafting • Vehicles • Exploration • Co-op
Step into a harsh open world where staying alive depends on every choice. Explore abandoned settlements, search for useful supplies, build a secure base, fix up vehicles, and face the infected as you fight to survive.
🌍 Explore a Dangerous Open World
A large, handcrafted world is waiting to be explored, with plenty of places worth taking a risk for:
- Abandoned towns and cities
- Dense forests and hidden spots
- Industrial areas and underground bunkers
- High-risk locations containing valuable loot
Every area has something to discover, rewarding players who are willing to leave the safety of familiar ground.
🔎 Loot, Scavenge & Stay Alive
Supplies are limited, so every useful item can make a difference. Search buildings and dangerous locations for:
- Weapons and ammunition
- Food and medical supplies
- Materials for crafting
- Rare survival equipment
Scavenging is a major part of survival. Choosing what to carry, save, or use can be just as important as winning a fight.
🏠 Build Your Own Survival Base
Create a place to call home and improve it as you gather more resources.
Use your base to:
- Store valuable loot
- Craft equipment and supplies
- Get ready for dangerous trips
In a world filled with infected enemies and limited resources, a well-prepared base can be the difference between making it back alive and losing everything.
🚗 Find, Repair & Drive Vehicles
Vehicles make it possible to cover greater distances and carry more supplies at Not Quite Dead: Open World Survival, but getting one running is only the beginning.
Use vehicles to:
- Travel across the map faster
- Transport larger amounts of loot
- Reach areas that would be difficult to access on foot
Fuel is limited, so every journey needs some planning. A long trip can quickly turn into a serious survival problem.
🧟 Fight the Infected
The infected aren’t all the same. Different areas bring different levels of danger in Not Quite Dead: Open World Survival.
Expect to encounter:
- Basic infected around lower-risk locations
- Tougher enemies in deeper parts of the map
- More dangerous variants in high-risk areas
Combat is quick, tense, and unforgiving. Poor preparation can turn even a simple encounter into a fight for survival.
⚠️ Take the Risk or Play It Safe
Going deeper into dangerous territory can lead to much better rewards, including:
- Powerful weapons
- Rare materials
- Unique items and valuable loot
But greater rewards come with greater danger. Playing cautiously may keep the character alive longer, while taking bigger risks can lead to much better gear.
