Shroom and Gloom puts a fresh spin on the roguelike deckbuilder formula with two separate decks to manage perfectly.

Build Two Decks, Play Two Ways
The combat deck handles the action, giving you the cards needed to survive battles against waves of bizarre fungal enemies. The exploration deck comes into play while moving through dungeons, letting you alter cards, discover new weapons, and unlock useful abilities.
The result is a first-person roguelike set in a strange, gloomy world packed with mushrooms, monsters, and plenty of room for experimenting with different card combinations.
Grow Cards Into Something Dangerous
There are hundreds of cards available for fighting through hand-drawn dungeons filled with fungal creatures. Build powerful decks, combine effects, and turn ordinary cards into much stronger versions as the journey pushes deeper toward the heart of The Gloom.
Card growth is one of Shroom and Gloom’s standout mechanics. Basic starting cards can be upgraded into devastating attacks, while rare cards can be changed into wildly powerful weapons capable of breaking the usual limits. With plenty of ways to modify cards, even a simple deck can eventually turn into something seriously overpowered.
A Strange World Full of Style
The visual design gives Shroom and Gloom plenty of personality. Hand-drawn artwork and animations are mixed with dozens of detailed 3D environments, creating a surreal setting where bizarre mushrooms and dark dungeon spaces fit together surprisingly well.

Features of Shroom and Gloom:
- Everything has a slightly odd, moody feel that matches the game’s fungal theme without taking itself too seriously.
- Forget Blocking — Eat the Enemy
- Combat isn’t just about defending against incoming attacks. Enemies can be seasoned, skewered, roasted, and then eaten to recover lost health. That makes defeated creatures useful even after the fight is practically over.
- Things get even stranger when roasted enemies are tossed into a cooking pot and turned into soups. These recipes can provide powerful effects and add another layer of strategy to battles.
- With monster-filled dungeons, two decks to build, endlessly adjustable cards, and some wonderfully ridiculous ways to deal with enemies, Shroom and Gloom has plenty going on beneath its gloomy exterior.
