Alchemy Factory puts a medieval spin on the automation genre. The journey starts with a modest shop, but there is plenty of room to grow.

Create Your Own Alchemy Empire
Team up with friends, set up production lines, fill your shelves with goods, and slowly turn a small business into a powerful alchemy empire.
The full 1.0 release is available now, bringing major additions such as the Wagon Logistics System, the Grand Portal, a rebuilt Reputation System, and improved shopkeeping.
At the heart of Alchemy Factory is factory automation. Conveyor belts, pipes, and magical machinery can be arranged to move resources and finished products throughout the workshop. Materials can be ground, extracted, distilled, smelted, and processed before becoming useful items for the shop.
Build Bigger, Smarter Production Lines
Conveyor belts keep the factory moving by transporting materials between different machines and work areas. Once several devices are connected, complete production chains can handle much of the repetitive work automatically.
Keeping everything running well takes some planning. Inputs and outputs need to stay balanced, while bottlenecks have to be identified and cleared. With a little fine-tuning, production becomes faster and more efficient.
There is also no need to keep the entire operation on one level. Production equipment, pipes, belts, and shop areas can be placed at different heights and connected across multiple floors. Resources can move upward, downward, and in different directions, making it possible to create a large three-dimensional factory.
As the business grows, separate work areas can be linked into one connected automation network. Eventually, the factory can stretch across several levels, with each floor working alongside the others.
Sell Goods, Complete Orders, and Grow
A productive factory is only part of the business. Finished items need to reach customers, too.
The shop can be stocked with potions, jewelry, relics, and other products. Customers bring in sales, while commissions provide another way to earn money. Once more of the selling process becomes automated, attention can shift toward improving production, discovering recipes, and expanding the operation.
The money earned from the business can be put back into the factory. Buy additional land, research equipment, and unlock better technology to increase production capacity and improve efficiency. A stronger production setup leads to more goods, higher sales, and further expansion.
Players can also upload their own blueprints and share their layouts with the wider alchemy community.
Alchemy Factory 1.0 Is Out Now
The 1.0 release brings together the major features planned during Early Access, including the Grand Portal, Wagon Logistics System, redesigned Reputation System, and revamped shopkeeping.
With production, transportation, and sales now working more closely together, there is plenty to build toward. Expand the factory, improve the shop, raise its reputation, and decide how far the business should go in Alchemy Factory.

Features of Alchemy Factory:
- Play and Build Together
- Different jobs can naturally fall to different players. One person might enjoy arranging production lines and fixing bottlenecks, while another focuses on the shop, logistics, or the overall factory layout. For groups planning a longer playthrough, dedicated servers can keep the factory available so everyone can return and continue where they left off.
- Getting started can also be easier with the Steam Workshop. Player-created blueprints range from simple starter layouts to detailed production setups designed for more experienced players. They offer a quick way to understand Alchemy Factory’s systems or pick up ideas for new factory designs.
- From potion-making and metallurgy to jewelry production and more, the goal is to create a thriving medieval enterprise capable of generating wealth on a kingdom-sized scale. Build an enormous automated factory, keep the shelves stocked, and work toward becoming a master alchemist.
- Alchemy Factory also supports co-op, giving friends the chance to build and manage one large operation together.
