From familiar favourites like Lions and Western Chimpanzees to a host of new arrivals, Planet Zoo 2 offers a varied collection of species, each with its own needs, habits, and personality in Planet Zoo 2. The animals look more lifelike than ever, with natural movements and expressive reactions that make watching them a real highlight.

Creating the right environment matters just as much as choosing the animals. Build habitats that encourage natural behaviours, whether that means herds moving together, wildlife grazing on planted vegetation, or animals interacting with the surroundings in their own ways. With greater attention to detail and animal behaviour, every enclosure has the potential to feel like a living part of the world.

Explore Aquariums and Custom-Built Aviaries

Aquatic wildlife makes its first appearance in the series, bringing an exciting new dimension to zoo design. Build eye-catching freshwater and saltwater aquariums to house a range of swimming species. Colourful schools of fish, Blacktip Reef Sharks, Hawksbill Turtles, and many other aquatic animals add variety to the underwater environments.

Take Conservation Beyond the Zoo

Animal welfare and conservation extend well beyond the usual zoo boundaries. Through worldwide conservation projects, players work towards specific goals before releasing animals into expansive Wildlife Reserves. These reserves can be customised across different locations around the globe, with player-designed ecosystems providing a home for wildlife beyond the zoo itself.

There is plenty of room for creativity when planning these spaces. Multiple biomes offer different settings to work with, while four new scenery themes introduce architectural styles inspired by locations around the world. Five themes from the original Planet Zoo also return, giving builders an extensive selection of objects and decorative pieces.
