A Desktop Pet With Plenty to Do

She can stroll across your screen, play videos or GIFs, run timers, and generally keep you company while you work or mess around.

Getting her onto your desktop is simple: just let Scag in.

Once she’s there, she can wander around your screen and hang out whenever you want. She may not be able to give you the whole world, but having her casually roaming around your desktop comes pretty close. Probably.

You can also interact with her in a few entertaining ways. Throwing her around might be slightly rude, but it is surprisingly fun and easy. Punching her works too. Or, if being nice sounds better, just say hi and enjoy having her around.

Clock, Alarm and Pomodoro Features

Scag comes with a Clock app that includes several useful functions in ScagJPT.

The Alarm feature lets you choose any duration you want and set an alarm for it. The Stopwatch works in the usual way, allowing you to start and stop the timer whenever needed, whether you’re timing a task or simply seeing how long something takes.

There is also a Pomodoro timer based on the Pomodoro Technique. It starts with 25 minutes of work followed by a 5-minute break. This cycle runs four times, and during the fifth break, the timer switches to a longer 30-minute break.

The idea behind the technique is to reduce mental distractions by creating a clear pattern between focused work and taking breaks at ScagJPT. Since the method is often used to support productivity, Scag gets her own Pomodoro app for anyone who wants to give it a try.

And yes, there is also a “The Square & Circle Show” clicker. It’s there for you.

Scag isn’t limited to walking around your desktop. She also has her own video player, so you can load supported video files and have them play directly on her screen in ScagJPT.

The player supports a wide range of formats, including:
