Freedom, peace, and democracy are the foundations of life on Super Earth at HELLDIVERS 2. These values define civilization, but an ongoing galactic war threatens everything that has been built.

Now is the time to enlist. Join the strongest military force in the galaxy, take on dangerous missions, and help make the universe a safer place for future generations.

Helldivers operate in squads of up to four players, with each team receiving important objectives to complete in HELLDIVERS 2. Cooperation makes all the difference, especially when enemies attack from every direction. Friendly fire is also part of the experience, so keeping an eye on teammates is just as important as watching out for hostile creatures. Going solo might sound tempting, but teamwork offers the best chance of making it through each mission.

Weapons, Equipment, and Strategic Combat

Every Helldiver can choose their preferred approach to battle. Some missions call for heavy firepower and direct attacks, while others reward careful movement and sneaking through enemy-controlled areas. Whether raining explosives down from above or charging straight into combat, there are plenty of ways to spread freedom.

A large selection of weapons, protective armor, and powerful stratagems is available. These special abilities can turn the tide of a fight, providing support through automated turrets, airstrikes, and other battlefield equipment in HELLDIVERS 2. Choosing the right combination can make a major difference when facing tougher enemies.

Super Earth also rewards successful missions with Requisition. This valuable currency unlocks additional rewards and upgrades that can benefit individual Helldivers, their squads, and their destroyer ships. Every completed assignment helps strengthen the military force and support the wider campaign.

Dangerous Enemies and an Ongoing Galactic War

Hostile planets offer very little room to relax. Almost everything encountered in the field can become a deadly threat. Different enemy types come with their own combat styles, abilities, and unpredictable behaviour. Regardless of their differences, they all attack aggressively and show no mercy.

The wider conflict continues beyond individual missions. Capturing enemy-controlled planets, stopping invasions, and completing objectives all contribute to the Galactic War. Every successful operation moves the campaign forward, while the actions of players across the community help determine its outcome.
