A New Dawn, A New Threat

A century has passed since the New Dawn Protocol was first activated. The devastating events of the past have faded into history, and life on New Aartis has finally returned to normal. Under the protection of the United Systems Initiative, humanity is thriving once again, with highly trained Mercenary units keeping order throughout the sector.

Choose Your Merc and Build Your Skills

Mercenaries are experienced combat specialists ready to handle almost any assignment, especially when there’s a good supply of creds waiting at the end. Each Mercenary class offers plenty of room for customization, with skill trees, specialized upgrade paths and abilities that let players shape their preferred fighting style.

There are three main classes to choose from: Assault, Heavy and Medic. Each comes with its own strengths and tactical advantages.

• 12 Core and Class Skills: Pick from six core abilities and six additional skills tied to your chosen class, then upgrade them to improve your performance.
• Activated Abilities: Unlock three powerful abilities that can make a major difference when a fight gets out of control.
• Speciality Classes: Select from two unique specialization branches, each offering exclusive traits, additional skills and extra activated abilities.

The progression system gives every class plenty of flexibility, making it possible to develop a Merc that fits a preferred approach to combat.

Weapons, Equipment and Endless Zombie Waves

The undead are back, and they’re not coming alone. Expect familiar enemies, frightening new zombie types and powerful bosses as wave after wave of attackers stand between the Mercs and their objectives. Taking them down requires more than quick reactions. A well-equipped loadout can make all the difference.

Strongboxes provide access to a large collection of weapons and armour, giving players plenty of gear to unlock and experiment with.

The equipment system offers a wide range of customization options, including:

• More than 60 primary and secondary weapons.
• Different armour sets to improve protection.
• Grenades and deployable turrets for additional battlefield support.
• A crafting system for upgrading and modifying weapons and equipment.
• The option to sell or dismantle unwanted gear in exchange for extra resources.

There are also special Power Weapons to look forward to. These can appear in Supply Drops during missions and provide some serious firepower when the regular arsenal isn’t enough to keep the zombies away in Zombie Assault: Resurgence.

Take on Contracts Solo or With Friends

With undead threats appearing across the galaxy at Zombie Assault: Resurgence, Mercenaries have no shortage of jobs to complete. Each assignment offers its own objectives and rewards, so there’s always another reason to jump into the action. Missions can be played alone or alongside up to three other players in four-player co-op.

Between its class progression, extensive weapon selection and mix of solo and cooperative missions, Zombie Assault: Resurgence offers plenty to keep the fight going. There’s always another weapon to improve, another challenge to complete and another group of zombies waiting to be taken down.
