A Deep Geopolitical Simulation

Step into a living political world that begins on January 1, 2026, reflecting the global situation as it existed on that date. Choose from more than 200 countries and territories, taking charge as either the government or an opposition party.

Power to the people free download (build 10975363)

Manage national finances, introduce legislation, deal with elections, respond to strikes, build diplomatic relationships and make decisions about war and peace. Every other government continues to operate independently, whether you are paying attention or not. There are no predefined scenarios or fixed finishing dates.

The simulation opens with the war in Ukraine already in progress. Select a country and take responsibility for its existing economy, public debt, population and political system. There are plenty of challenges to tackle, from convincing parliament to approve pension changes to negotiating with unhappy trade unions or campaigning for a position on the UN Security Council. What happens next depends on the choices made by your government and the actions of other countries.

More than 200 nations and territories have their own governments, political priorities and interests. They can adjust budgets, introduce new laws, organize elections, impose economic sanctions and negotiate international agreements. Depending on the rules in place, military conflicts can also break out, potentially involving your country.

A World Where Politics, Economics and Society Connect

The interesting part of Geoplanetical is how different systems influence one another. Political decisions don’t exist in isolation, and even seemingly small events can have wider consequences.

The economy includes more than 100 different goods spread across roughly 30 industries, with international trade connecting markets and businesses.

Keeping track of everything is fairly straightforward thanks to several in-game tools. The Agenda highlights upcoming deadlines, pressing issues and important developments in Geoplanetical. Country reports provide updates on recent changes, while approval and stability breakdowns explain the figures behind your government’s performance. Ministers also share recommendations related to their respective responsibilities.

Getting Laws Passed Is Not Always Easy

You have control over a wide range of social and political policies, including minimum wages, working hours, paid holidays, retirement rules, abortion, capital punishment, cannabis, religion, immigration and asylum at Geoplanetical.

Cannabis legislation offers several possible approaches, from a complete ban or decriminalization to medical access, regulated commercial sales and government-controlled distribution.

However, proposing a law is only the beginning. Getting it approved requires dealing with the political system and the people who hold power within it. You can review predicted voting results, establish how your party members should vote and monitor parliamentary debates. Executive approval, presidential vetoes and constitutional challenges can all influence whether legislation becomes law. The exact process varies depending on the country’s political institutions and the position you occupy.

Features of Geoplanetical:

  • Strikes affect everyday operations: When employees walk out, businesses and public services lose part of their workforce, potentially disrupting their normal activities in Geoplanetical.
  • Energy shortages create economic pressure: Coal and gas power stations require sufficient fuel to generate electricity. Supply problems can push up costs, limit industrial output and reduce government tax revenue.
  • Blockades disrupt international trade: Restrictions on shipping can interrupt the movement of goods at Geoplanetical, while military conflicts and territorial occupation influence production, supply chains and civilian life.
  • Healthcare spending has its limits: Increasing hospital budgets doesn’t automatically provide more qualified doctors, available beds or essential medical equipment.
  • Businesses respond to market conditions: Companies make investment and recruitment decisions based on demand and the resources available to them.
