Valheim is a co-op exploration and survival game designed for 1–10 players. Set in a procedurally generated world based on Norse mythology.

It drops players into the mysterious Tenth World, where survival, exploration, crafting, and combat all go hand in hand. Gather resources, create powerful weapons, build impressive settlements, and take on dangerous enemies in a journey worthy of Odin.

Every world feels different thanks to its randomly generated landscapes. Various biomes come with their own scenery, materials, creatures, and hazards, giving plenty of reasons to keep exploring. The open seas can also be crossed by ship, allowing a lone Viking or a group of up to ten players to search for distant shores and undiscovered territory.

Fight the Forsaken

The Tenth World is far from peaceful. Powerful forces have taken hold of the land, led by formidable regional bosses called the Forsaken. Taking them down requires preparation, good equipment, and a solid grasp of combat.

Axes, swords, bows, and other weapons can be used to develop a preferred fighting style. Better gear can be crafted as new materials are discovered in Valheim, making each major battle feel like a step forward. Defeating the Forsaken is also tied directly to progression and serves as the path toward proving worth to Odin, the Allfather.

Build a Place to Call Home

Survival is not only about fighting. Building a reliable base is just as important when the wilderness is filled with threats. Construct a simple shelter to get started, then expand it into a full Viking village, a grand longhouse, or even a fortified stronghold built into a mountainside.

A good base needs more than impressive looks. Structural strength and defence matter when danger comes knocking. At the same time at Valheim, decorating the space and improving its comfort gives the settlement a more welcoming feel after a long day of exploring and fighting.

Craft, Cook, and Prepare

Finding new materials opens up additional crafting, construction, and cooking options. The progression system keeps rewarding exploration, since unfamiliar resources can unlock recipes and equipment that make future adventures easier.

Food plays an especially useful role. Rather than simply punishing players for not eating, the system provides different bonuses based on the meals consumed. Health and stamina are closely connected to combat, so choosing the right food before heading into a difficult fight can sometimes be the difference between surviving and ending up back at the respawn point in Valheim.

Community-Translated Languages

Alongside the officially supported languages, Valheim also includes several translations created by its community. These versions are produced and maintained by fans, so their development can change over time.

Because community translations are ongoing, their quality and completeness may vary. Not every unofficial translation is guaranteed to be fully finished or completely accurate.

Features of Valheim:

• Picking up trees and picking up rocks.
• Build a tool table, a small house, and a bed, and then go hunting mainly for pigs. The meat can be roasted to increase the maximum life. The skin fragments are one of the core resources for the following period of time.
• If there is a river around, you can pick up some flint along the river to upgrade your weapon. The flint spear can be used for a long time. After you have collected 8 skins from the pigs, you can open the bow, and you can hunt the deer remotely.
• If there are more than two people, each one can challenge the Scarlet Blood Spirit Deer with a bow. Remember to raise your life before you fight. It is recommended to make a deerskin outfit for a single person.
