A New Journey Across Liberl

Estelle Bright has earned her senior bracer rank, but the celebration doesn’t last long in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter.

Just before the Queen’s Birthday Festival, Joshua finally opens up about his troubled past. Then, without warning, he disappears, leaving Estelle with nothing more than a short goodbye: “Goodbye, Estelle.”

With Joshua’s harmonica in hand and no intention of giving up at Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, Estelle sets off across Liberl to find him. Her search soon becomes much bigger than a missing-person case, as the mysterious Ouroboros organization steps out of the shadows and begins pushing the kingdom toward chaos.

Follow the Trail to Joshua

The road ahead is filled with danger and unanswered questions. Liberl faces its most serious crisis yet, with the capital engulfed in flames, a massive airship looming overhead, and the mysterious Shining Ring adding another layer to the growing threat.

As Estelle and her companions chase clues, they uncover a tangled plot involving Ouroboros and its plans for the kingdom. Finding Joshua is still the main goal, but stopping the organization becomes just as important in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter.

The journey takes the party across the continent while gradually revealing more about Joshua’s past, Ouroboros, and the conspiracy surrounding Liberl.

More Ways to Fight and Explore

Combat gets a noticeable boost in this chapter with additional Crafts and S-Crafts that give characters more ways to handle enemies. The new Brave Rush feature also lets party members combine their attacks during Quick Battles for stronger results.

The orbment system returns as well, allowing Arts to be used and customized as battles become more demanding.

Players who still have clear data from the first chapter can carry it into the sequel. Doing so unlocks bonus items that can make the early parts of the adventure a little easier.
