Created by Japanese developer Fudashitatei , this lengthy fantasy RPG builds on the foundations of its predecessor while expanding the experience across exploration, story events, and combat. The familiar charm remains, but several improvements make this adventure feel bigger and more engaging.

New players won’t have trouble following the plot, either. A previous-story recap and in-game glossary provide useful background information, making it easier to understand the characters, locations, and events that shape this fantasy world.

Rouge’s past is anything but ordinary. Once a nimble female assassin, he was transformed into a man after being injected with a mysterious poison. Despite this dramatic change, his kind personality remains untouched. Whenever he comes across young women in danger, he rarely hesitates to step in and help.

Combat, Voice Acting, and RPG Gameplay

The sequel takes its traditional JRPG combat and gives it a noticeable upgrade. Battles feature dynamic side-scrolling action, with several mechanics that encourage players to make good use of their companions and available abilities in False Myth 2.

Partner Linkage attacks, powerful magic, and stealth assassinations all play a role in combat. The new adventure takes place in the territory of Rylan, the setting introduced in the previous game. Rouge joins Nagi on a journey toward the Great Temple of Valdia, but their travels take an unexpected turn when they encounter a mysterious organization attacking a young girl in False Myth 2.

Using his impressive combat skills, Rouge manages to rescue her from the attackers. However, the girl is far from an ordinary victim.

She introduces herself as Sylphina , but something about her immediately raises questions. Her face never shows emotion at False Myth 2, regardless of what happens around her or what anyone says to her. She behaves almost like a lifeless doll, seemingly disconnected from the world and lacking any visible awareness of her surroundings.

Rouge cannot bring himself to abandon someone in such a condition. Instead, he decides to take Syl
