Ex Sanguis lets you explore a world that is dying, and the Stillae are its last real chance. Born from the Sanguis of the Mater.

A World Fighting to Survive
Elite warriors carry the final hope of their divinity in Ex Sanguis. Their mission is simple but brutal: fight the forces of Stasis and bring life back to a world that has nearly lost its flow.
Blood is more than just a visual part of the experience. After the Purge drained the world of its color, every drop represents resistance. Reds and blacks fill the battlefield, creating a striking contrast against an otherwise pale and lifeless setting. Violence becomes an act of rebellion against a world being forced into permanent Stasis.
Tactical Battles Where Every Move Counts
Combat plays out through turn-based battles where positioning and timing can completely change the situation. Enemies can be knocked backward along the timeline at Ex Sanguis, opening the door for chain reactions and carefully planned attacks.
Timeline Effects give plenty of room for clever plays. Turns can be delayed, accelerated, or swapped around to disrupt enemy plans and create better opportunities for the Stillae.
The battlefield itself also plays a major role in Ex Sanguis. Certain objects can explode, set enemies on fire, or cut off their line of sight. A good position can turn a dangerous encounter around in just a few moves.
Spatial mechanics add another layer to each fight. Knock-backs, forced facing, flanking bonuses, and damage-over-time effects all work together, making positioning just as important as choosing an attack.
With a large collection of abilities to unlock, different skills can be combined to create powerful synergies. Loadouts can be shaped around different strategies, giving plenty of freedom when building each Stillae.
Choose the Risk, Shape the Run
Progression lets players decide how aggressively they want to move across the map. High-risk missions can offer greater rewards, while heading directly toward boss encounters provides a faster and more dangerous route.
There is also the option to take things slower at Ex Sanguis, collect resources, and improve the odds of surviving what comes next. Every mission adds to the overall progression while reflecting the type of run being built.
A Roguelite Journey Built Around Turn-Based Combat
Failure is part of the journey. Each run provides another chance to gain strength, recover forgotten powers, and push farther into increasingly dangerous areas where stronger enemies are waiting.

Features of Ex Sanguis:
- Returning for another attempt also brings new ways to prepare the Stillae. Memories can be recovered, while loadouts and names can be changed to shape the next round.
- The result is a roguelite loop that fits naturally with tactical, turn-based combat.
- Every victory can open new possibilities, while every failed run can still contribute to future progress.
- The further the journey reaches toward the outer edge of the map, the tougher regular Missions become. That rising difficulty keeps each step forward feeling increasingly dangerous.
