Walkers is an open-world zombie survival game that combines resource gathering, crafting, base construction, and survivor management.

Survive, Build, and Explore in Walkers
Set in a world devastated by the apocalypse, Walkers challenges players to explore dangerous areas, collect valuable supplies, and build a place worth defending.

Survival isn’t a one-person job, either. Survivors can be found throughout the world and recruited to join your group. Once they become part of your community, they can work at your base, protect your settlement, or accompany you on dangerous expeditions.
Create Your Own Outpost
There are no strict rules about where to settle down. Almost any location that feels secure can become a personal base. Start with a simple shelter, add storage chests, construct walls, and gradually turn an empty location into a proper settlement.
The building system gives plenty of room for creativity. From the layout of your structures to the decorations inside, every detail is yours to decide. The result is a base that reflects your own approach to surviving the apocalypse.
Recruit Survivors and Build a Community
A strong settlement needs more than walls and supplies. Finding other survivors, earning their trust, and bringing them into your group is just as important.
Every recruit comes with individual abilities and can take on one of three roles: Worker, Guard, or Companion. These assignments aren’t permanent, so switching someone to a different position is always an option. A survivor who joins an expedition today might be standing watch at the entrance tomorrow.
Survivors can also be trained, improved, and equipped with suitable gear. However, there’s a serious risk involved: death is permanent for recruited characters. Once a survivor dies, there’s no bringing them back.
Worker
Workers keep the outpost running. They can handle different activities, including gathering resources, looting, farming, cooking, construction, and other daily tasks. Assign them to the jobs that help your settlement grow.
Guard
Guards protect your home when danger approaches. Whether the threat comes from aggressive zombie groups or hostile human factions, they’re responsible for holding the line and keeping your outpost safe, even if it costs them their lives.
Companion
Companions join you on your journeys beyond the safety of your base. With proper equipment, they can fight alongside you, collect useful items, and help you explore dangerous locations before returning to the outpost.
Raids, Zombie Attacks, and Changing Weather
Your outpost won’t remain safe simply because you’ve built strong walls. Other factions may attempt to raid your settlement and steal its resources. Zombies are another constant threat, and large groups can gather when they detect the scent of humans.
As your community expands and your settlement becomes more valuable in Walkers, attacks can become increasingly dangerous. Staying prepared and protecting your resources should always be a priority.
Skills, Game Modes, and Future Content
Character development offers several different paths through an extensive skill tree. Whether the preferred approach is aggressive combat, adventurous exploration, or a more resilient survival style, skills can be selected to support different playstyles. Build a character that suits the way you want to experience the world.
Walkers also features two distinct game modes, each offering a different level of risk at Walkers.
- Campaign Mode: Dying doesn’t mean losing everything. Characters respawn at their outpost, but any items carried at the time of death are lost. From there, the journey can continue.
- Survival Mode: This mode offers a much harsher experience. Death is permanent, and once a character dies, the entire world starts over from scratch.
