Survivor’s Notes PC (Final version)

The story follows two main characters from very different circumstances, and both perspectives can be played as their paths slowly begin to connect.

Rather than focusing only on the destruction caused by a zombie outbreak, Survivor’s Notes puts more attention on the choices people make when everything around them is falling apart. Belief, responsibility, trust, and sacrifice sit at the heart of the story.

There are no superhuman saviors stepping in to fix everything. The people trying to protect what remains of humanity are ordinary individuals who have to rely on reason, courage, and a willingness to pay a heavy personal price.

Survivor’s Notes also explores what happens after the world is saved. Once civilization gets another chance to continue, the people responsible for that salvation may disappear from history entirely. Their names, actions, and sacrifices can be lost, leaving only the survival of humanity behind.

That makes Survivor’s Notes feel less like a standard zombie adventure and more like a post-apocalyptic story about memory, trust, human dignity, and the people who survive when everything else is gone.

Story and Setting

The disaster begins in 2026, when a sudden worldwide zombie outbreak pushes human civilization toward collapse within just a few days. The true cause of the catastrophe remains unknown, while countless lives are changed and many people are eventually forgotten.

Ji Xingchuan, a cartoonist, has spent an entire year experiencing the same recurring dreams about a ruined, post-apocalyptic world. Those dreams become the basis for a serialized manga called Notes of the Survivor, which unexpectedly becomes popular.

Then the manga stops.

The reason is unsettling. The story has reached a scene involving a white light on a rooftop, and Ji Xingchuan realizes that the world appearing in the dreams is beginning to overlap with reality.

Elsewhere, Bai Yuan arrives from the post-apocalyptic future of 2033. A special forces soldier, she has traveled back to 2026 carrying what may be humanity’s only chance of survival. Her mission is to uncover the source of the outbreak before events reach the point where the disaster becomes impossible to prevent.

Bai Yuan understands the cost from the beginning. If the mission succeeds and the timeline is restored, she will disappear along with the post-apocalyptic future she came from.

The story brings together two people who should never have met: an ordinary person haunted by visions of the apocalypse and a soldier who has already lived through it. As the city falls apart, their search for answers becomes tangled with lost companions, broken beliefs, difficult decisions, and secrets that someone deliberately tried to bury.

Choices, Characters, and Gameplay

Survivor’s Notes uses an FMV format with a third-person perspective that remains closely tied to the protagonists. Players experience events through their viewpoint while sound, movement, and tense situations help maintain the pressure throughout the story.
