A Crime Scene Full of Contradictions

A young woman has been found dead inside her home, and Connor Raines is sent in to investigate what initially looks like a straightforward case. It does not stay that way for long.

The house is packed with unsettling details. Blood traces, fingerprints, personal belongings, hidden recordings, and other pieces of evidence slowly point toward a story that makes less sense the deeper the investigation goes. Clues can contradict one another, forcing careful examination of what actually happened that night.

Every room contains something worth checking, while the truth sits buried beneath layers of secrets and disturbing evidence.

Search, Examine, and Connect the Clues

Finding evidence is only part of the investigation. A UV flashlight, camera, magnifier, walkie-talkie, and evidence board all come into play when searching the house for details that are easy to miss.

Communication with another detective adds another layer to the case. Radio conversations include dialogue choices that can reveal more about the investigation, question earlier assumptions, and gradually uncover what is hiding behind the crime.

Evidence needs to be connected and events reconstructed rather than simply collected. Rehaunted leaves room to form personal conclusions about what really took place inside the house.

There is no constant stream of answers telling exactly what to think. The clues have to speak for themselves.

An Unsettling First-Person Horror Experience

The investigation takes place through atmospheric first-person gameplay, with cinematic visuals, realistic environments, oppressive sound design, and supernatural moments that become increasingly disturbing as the case develops.

The house may look abandoned, but it never quite feels empty.

That uneasy feeling works alongside the detective gameplay of Rehaunted, creating a horror experience where tension grows slowly instead of relying entirely on sudden scares.
