Project Solaris lets you shape the next 100 days that will decide Solaris’s future. Each day brings a choice, and the path taken can change the Trial.
Shape the Next 100 Days
Battle enemies, take some time off, learn a new skill, or work to earn extra money. Three cards are offered at a time, letting players decide what comes next.
Certain choices and milestones also open up hidden side stories. These moments reveal more about the characters and can lead the story in different directions. With several possible endings, the decisions made along the way matter.

Solaris lives in a world where magic is part of everyday life, yet she has failed to become a Mage herself. Her biggest ambition is to become a full-fledged Mage and finally leave The Island behind.
Fighting Alongside Hom
Solaris may be the character under direct control, but Hom is the one who takes on enemies when combat begins. Commands are given to him through successful Quick Time Events (QTEs), making timing an important part of each battle.
As Solaris and Hom grow closer and build Trust, more advanced skills become available in Project Solaris. Their friendship plays a big role in how they handle the challenges ahead, so improving their bond is just as important as getting stronger.
Hom also has plenty of flexibility when it comes to equipment. He can carry several pieces at once, but there is a catch: only gear crafted specifically for him can be used. Crafting results are completely random, so picking the right focus can make a noticeable difference. His equipment should also suit the type of moves he is currently using.
Money, Crafting, and Equipment
Money can be earned in two main ways: fighting in battles or working at the shop. The cash earned can then be spent on crafting new equipment at Project Solaris.
Characters and the Road Ahead
Solaris does not have to face the Trial alone. Her small companion Hom stays at her side, and their growing connection becomes one of the main parts of the journey in Project Solaris.
Other characters also have their own roles to play:
Tetia: Solaris’s former classmate and a talented Mage who can be somewhat immature.
Croisé: Solaris’s strict but caring mother.
August: The shopkeeper who always seems to have something more important on his mind.
Melchior: One of The Three, with high expectations for both Solaris and Hom.
There is also someone else working behind the scenes with a hidden agenda.
Features of Project Solaris:
- Solaris can use some seriously powerful gear, although getting it will cost money. Hom works a little differently. He has more options for what he can equip and can hold equipment in larger quantities, but his gear must be made specifically for him.
- Because crafting outcomes are random, every attempt comes with some uncertainty at Project Solaris. Choosing what to focus on and matching Hom’s equipment to his current moveset are both worth keeping in mind.
- The goal is simple: help Solaris and Hom make it through the next 100 days. Between combat, crafting, daily choices, relationship-building at Project Solaris, and branching story events, the decisions made throughout the Trial will shape where their journey ends.
