Build Your Party and Master Tactical Combat
The adventure begins with a custom hero. Choose a gender, race, and class, adjust abilities, and shape a character that matches the preferred approach to Project Afterfall. As the journey progresses, new NPC companions can join the group, each bringing their own personality and special skills.
Party building plays a big part in overcoming the challenges ahead in Project Afterfall. Character development and deck-building mechanics allow different approaches to combat, making team composition and card selection worth thinking about.
Battles use a turn-based, card-driven system, but combat isn’t the only situation where the deck comes into play. Encounters outside battle can also test the party’s abilities and resources. Powerful enemies may require careful planning, while some situations are better handled through negotiation or a risky bargain with one of Thea’s darker inhabitants.
