Master the entire process — from brewing mash and moonshine to crafting fine whiskey, liqueurs, and dozens of other spirits. Experiment with ingredients and discover special recipes to impress even the most discerning connoisseurs. Overall, it’s pretty fun, but it still needs some attention to bugs and quality-of-life improvements. During roughly eight hours of gameplay, there were four crashes in Moonshiner Simulator. Without manually forcing a save, progress can be lost farther back than expected. The map also lacks enough direction for points of interest. The ability to choose a legal path, an illegal path.

With some additional polish, it has the potential to become a really solid experience. Longer days, better mobility for the map size (even something as simple as a bicycle), and a more organized UI would all go a long way toward improving player retention. Performance was generally good with only occasional stutters, although there were some audio hiccups when moving between areas as the music and ambient sounds transitioned. Add points of interest to the map. Not knowing where stores are located makes navigation unnecessarily frustrating. Days need to be longer and should include a clearer time-of-day system.

The day could still end at a fixed point, as brewing already appears to stop progressing after a certain time. Right now, the days are simply too short. Gathering materials, visiting vendors, tending greenhouses, selling to customers, mixing products, and purchasing upgrades all in Moonshiner Simulator have to be squeezed into a limited amount of time. This is especially punishing for solo players. Workers also require daily drinks to remain productive, making it difficult to focus on production. As a result, producing mixes in meaningful quantities is challenging due to both time and material limitations.

Bottles are consumed quickly, and mushrooms, while limited, are required for some of the best combinations. The UI needs better filtering options at Moonshiner Simulator. Once a large number of drinks have been created, finding specific recipes requires excessive scrolling. A simple favorite system that allows starred drinks to stay at the top of the list would greatly improve usability. The flashlight is still far too dim, even after the recent update. Increasing its brightness by at least 40–50% would make nighttime exploration much more comfortable.
