A Strange New Culinary Adventure

Who would willingly sit down for a meal made from bizarre creatures drifting through space? Apparently, a zombie chef with a serious passion for cooking! Dungeon Munchies 2 brings back the unusual mix of side-scrolling combat, dungeon exploration, character progression, and monster hunting that made the original game stand out.

The adventure follows a zombie chef who knows pretty much everything about preparing Earth’s monsters. This time, the chef’s employer, Simmer, a necromancer with some rather ambitious plans, has a new assignment. Her dream is to establish a restaurant chain beyond the Stargate and show the universe what her cooking and business skills can achieve.

To make that happen, the zombie chef must venture into the remains of an enormous space colony, uncover its secrets, and experiment with creatures never before seen on Earth. A better paycheck might even be waiting at the end of the job!

Hunt Monsters, Cook Meals, and Discover Strange New Flavors

Forget ordinary ingredients. The kitchen in Dungeon Munchies 2 is stocked with creatures from beyond the stars. Exploration, hunting, and cooking go hand in hand as every unusual monster becomes a potential addition to the menu.

Some of the dishes are as ridiculous as they sound. Fungibeast steaks, infernal sausages, and pancakes made with undying scallions are just a few examples of the culinary possibilities. Even hostile space creatures can become a useful source of extra calories!

Dungeon Munchies 2 also introduces the Alien Nutrient Absorption Lattice, a strange piece of equipment packed with digestive enzymes and extraordinary absorption abilities. It opens the door to flavors that human taste buds could never fully understand.

Of course, not every experiment turns out perfectly. Blanched dark matter tastes surprisingly unpleasant with peanut powder, while Boötes Jerky could definitely use less salt. A little more moisture would help, too.

Cooking also plays an important role in combat. A collection of specialized kitchen tools, created by a team of skilled skeleton artisans, lets players turn their culinary talents into offensive abilities.
