A Typing Game With a Twist

The basic idea is simple: play as either a police officer chasing down criminals or a thief trying to get away. Typing speed and accuracy directly affect how quickly the character moves, turning every keyboard stroke into part of the chase.

Matches can also involve vehicles, useful props, and sudden changes in the action. Roadblocks, banana peels, and other items can change the situation in seconds, while vehicles appear randomly and add another layer of unpredictability. The result: Code Velocity is a casual game that still leaves plenty of room for quick thinking and clever decisions.

Welcome to New Metropolis

The story takes place in New Metropolis, a futuristic city populated by animals. Beneath its bright and modern appearance, data crime has become a major threat. A hacker group called the “Black Keyers” has been stealing wealth and power by interfering with transportation systems, financial networks, and public safety controls.

These skilled hackers can break through digital firewalls almost instantly. There is, however, one weakness they cannot overcome in Code Velocity.

In a world where digital technology dominates almost every part of life, speed and accuracy become more than useful abilities. They become tools for protecting the city. The real race against time is not simply about hitting keys as fast as possible. Every move also depends on the courage and judgment behind each decision.

Chase, Escape, and Compete

Players can choose between two sides: police officers who pursue thieves or thieves who must escape. Typing performance has a direct impact on movement, and keeping an error-free streak can activate a special speed boost.

Code Velocity supports three real-time multiplayer formats: 1V1, 2V2, and 1V3. AI players can fill empty spots, making it possible to jump into a match without waiting for a full group. Each mode keeps the focus on fast reactions, accurate typing, and smart use of the available tools.

More than 50 achievements are also included. These connect with Steam Achievements and Cloud Save, allowing progress and accomplishments to carry over while providing additional goals beyond simply winning individual matches.

Cute Characters and a Growing Reward System

The visual style uses 2D Q-version animal characters with playful and humorous designs. Chase sequences put more attention on the action, while the main menu uses upbeat background music to keep things relaxed. Once a match gets underway, the music shifts into a more urgent rhythm, supported by lively skill effects that make the chase feel more active.
