The story of Best Slime of my Life follows a former adventurer who is trying to get back into the swing of things after taking a long break following his divorce. Like many adventurers starting over, the first job is simple enough: go out and kill some slimes.

Things take an unexpected turn when one of those slimes turns out to be Sylphie, an intelligent and attractive woman whose entire body is made from blue slime. Instead of fighting her, the two become close and eventually start a relationship.

There is one unusual problem. Sylphie survives by consuming a particular kind of “nutrition.” That creates tension between the couple and becomes the main reason the story can develop in different directions.

Story, Routes, and Characters

Best Slime of my Life includes both a Netorare (NTR) route and a Netorase (NTS) route, along with an extra ending for players familiar with Goblin Down. The story is presented through the perspectives of the adventurer and Sylphie, with her appearance changing according to the route selected in Best Slime of my Life.

The short runtime works well for the simple structure. There is no complicated gameplay system getting in the way, so most of the experience comes down to reading the story, making choices, and seeing how the relationship develops.

The NTR elements are directly connected to the couple’s relationship rather than being completely separate from the story. The protagonist’s small penis is also used as part of the setup for the NTR route, where Sylphie becomes more satisfied with another man who is larger and more physically dominant. Even with that angle, the story remains enjoyable despite being fairly short.

There are also stronger adult themes involving voyeurism, betrayal, and sexual abuse. Those elements are worth keeping in mind before playing, especially if certain themes are outside your comfort zone.

Visuals and Adult Content

The slime design is easily the standout feature. Sylphie’s entire body has a translucent blue appearance, with a wet, gooey texture that gives her a distinctive look while still maintaining a dress-like silhouette. The visual style carries over into the adult scenes, making them noticeably different from scenes featuring regular human characters.

Her transparent body also allows the animation to play with effects that would not be possible with a normal heroine. The result is especially noticeable during penetration scenes, where the see-through slime design becomes part of the visual presentation.
