Twisted Tower PC (RUNE-Final)

Uncover the dark secrets of your past as you race to the top to win back the love of your life. Step right up to the Twisted Tower! Careful though! Our silly mascots may be looking for a hug, and our carnival rides might need some screws tightened… So what do you say, chap? Are you tough enough to make it to the top of the tower and save the love of your life? Here’s what your ticket will get you upon entering the magical resort: Explore an abandoned 1950’s resort reminiscent of BioShock and Disney World. Get lost in 5 hauntingly beautiful levels: the hotel, the waterpark, the clown casino, the carnival forest, and the space station.

The gunplay feels punchy, the weapons are ridiculous in a way that never stops being fun, and the movement gets better as more tools become available. More importantly, it rewards curiosity. There are alternate routes, secrets, upgrades, environmental details, and strange little moments everywhere. The levels and environments each feel like actual places with their own mood, not just another bland level wearing a different skin. What stands out most is how handmade the game feels. It was not designed by committee, focus-tested into mush, or built to trap players in an endless content treadmill.

It is a complete single-player adventure with a real beginning, a real ending, a strong point of view, and the confidence to be weird. The years of discarded ideas, rebuilt systems, hard decisions, and stubborn determination behind it are easy to feel. There is also a surprising amount of heart underneath all the blood, mascots, jokes, and nightmare imagery. Twisted Tower knows when to be absurd, but it never feels embarrassed to be sincere. That balance is incredibly hard to pull off, and it is a huge part of why the experience sticks with you after you stop playing.

Play Twisted Tower, take your time, look behind everything, and even try the weapon that sounds too dumb to be useful. Let Twisted Tower surprise you. It deserves to be experienced as its own thing, not just reduced to a one-line comparison with the games that inspired it. The theme park and mascot horror aspect of Twisted Tower is what initially caught attention. The game is scary but really fun. Having a variety of weapons throughout the game is unique compared to the mascot horror typically experienced. The story is very interesting, and the anticipation of finishing the game to see if Charlotte can be saved makes it even more exciting.
