Running a successful shop takes more than good ingredients in The Piper of Dawn. Meet the Peoplesprouts, workers that can actually be grown. They can be assigned to farming, manufacturing, or running the shop, helping automate different parts of the business.

Each Peoplesprout has different strengths, so putting the right worker in the right role matters. Just don’t push them too hard. Too much work can affect their Sanity, making rest an important part of keeping the operation running at The Piper of Dawn.

The shop itself can be customized and stocked with crops, potions, rare items, and other curiosities. As its reputation grows, more non-human customers may stop by, bringing unusual requests and opportunities to earn more.

Meet Diamond City’s Strange Residents

Diamond City is home to more than 40 NPCs, including six central heroines with their own relationship routes. Building trust with the city’s residents can open up new events, opportunities, and story developments.

• Sissi — A barmaid with extraordinary strength who becomes the first full-time employee. She once wanted to work as a housemaid but soon discovers that farming comes surprisingly naturally to her.

• Gretel — A walking magnet for trouble. With rose-gold fur, a fluffy tail, and exceptional marksmanship, Gretel seems to stumble into mysterious incidents wherever she goes. Each strange encounter ends up recorded in her Field Notes.

• Jimo Li — Meow? Meow, meow!

• Aurora Ludwig — Princess, goddess, sacrifice—Aurora has carried many identities. Her immense magical power has a major effect on Diamond City, while her real nature remains hidden behind layers of mystery.

Gods, Factions, Games, and the Time Loop

Ancient powers are never far away. Divine blessings can be collected and combined to provide powerful bonuses during each rewind, although the gods behind those blessings may come with their own unsettling influence.
