ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles is all about the simple pleasure of designing boats and ships. That’s the whole idea.

No unnecessary complexity, just the fun of shaping a vessel and seeing what it can do.
Finished ships can be exported to Bulwark, 3D printed, or used in other games thanks to a free commercial license in ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles.
There’s something about ships that makes them endlessly interesting. Tall ships, steamers, pre-dreadnought French oddities — the lot. ShipShaper is built around that fascination, giving players a flexible way to experiment with different types of vessels.
Instead of relying on complicated 3D modelling tools, ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles lets you pull, push, and stretch shapes until the hull starts looking right. A basic fishing boat can sit alongside a huge tall ship, an ironclad, an early dreadnought, or something that could only exist in a fantasy or steampunk setting.
Historical designs are welcome, but there are no rules saying a ship has to be realistic.
Building Ships Without the Usual Hassle
ShipShaper combines boat design with experimental controls designed to make the process more enjoyable and less tedious.
There’s no need to know traditional 3D modelling, and there’s no need to construct an entire hull from endless stacks of cubes. Shapes can be worked organically, while props, details, and functional components can be attached as the design takes shape.
The result is a ship designer that feels much more approachable while still leaving plenty of room to experiment.
Once a ship is finished, it can be placed into the world and taken out to sea. ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles analyses the design, including its propulsion, hull shape, and weight, and uses those factors to determine how the vessel behaves.
That makes launching a finished ship particularly interesting. A design can look great on the screen, but the ocean gets the final say.
Flexible, Forgiving Design
One of the best parts of the system is how easy it is to change a design without destroying the work that has already gone into it.
Built the entire ship around a deck that turns out to be the wrong size or shape? Just move it. The existing design adjusts along with it rather than forcing everything to be rebuilt from scratch.
Adding pre-made pieces is equally satisfying. Snap on some details, tweak the shape, adjust the proportions, and keep going. Then comes the fun part: putting the ship in the water and finding out whether the design actually works.
The freedom to build more than historically accurate ships also opens up plenty of possibilities.
A Few Standout Features
Unified colour schemes
The shared colour system helps separate ship components while still making the finished vessel feel like one coherent design. Even randomly generated colour combinations can produce surprisingly good-looking results.
In-game Workshop browsing
Workshop creations can be viewed and voted on directly from inside ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles. Only a small number of games and software tools offer something similar, and ShipShaper adds the ability to share and export those creations with very little friction at ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles.
A free commercial license
The commercial license is a huge benefit for creators. Ships can be exported as 3D files, screenshots can be taken for projects, and the resulting work can be used in games, tabletop projects, 3D printing, or other creative work without needing to buy an additional commercial licence.
