The game puts you in your freshman year at Edgefield University, where there are plenty of characters to meet, friendships to build, and relationships to pursue, including fully animated romantic scenes.

The campus is designed as an open sandbox rather than a series of disconnected scenes. Different locations can be explored, characters follow their own daily routines, and random encounters can happen as you move around. There should be plenty to discover as the year goes on.

You’ll also have your own dorm room to customize. Posters, furniture, and odd bits of stuff collected from quests can all become part of the room, giving you a space that feels like your own.

Starting Freshman Year

The story begins with an 18-year-old arriving at Edgefield University, an expensive and prestigious school that came as something of a surprise. Photography is the main interest, although there’s no fixed decision yet about what to study.

The trip to campus isn’t a solo journey. Your dad is along for the ride, together with his new girlfriend, Sasha, and her daughter, Emma. After reaching the university, the next step is moving into the dorm and getting acquainted with the people living nearby.

The main character can be either male or female, and relationships aren’t restricted by gender. Each major character can lead to either a friendship or romantic route, and those choices can change along the way. No particular character has to be pursued, and optional content stays optional.

Characters You’ll Meet

There’s a pretty varied group around campus, with personalities ranging from quiet and shy to loud, confident, and occasionally difficult.

• Dad – A well-meaning, slightly dorky father who genuinely tries his best.

• Sasha – Your dad’s new girlfriend, who is making an awkward effort to connect with you.

• Emma – Sasha’s daughter. She isn’t particularly fond of you and is already in her junior year at Edgefield.

• Theo – Smart, supportive, and seemingly destined for politics. He studies Political Science.

• Peter – The horny class clown who always has a joke ready. His major is Music Theory.

• Quinn – A laid-back skater girl who likes giving you a hard time. She hasn’t chosen a major yet.

• Penelope – A shy gamer and anime fan studying Game Design.

• Jun – A cheerful goth with an artistic, open-minded personality. She studies Fine Art.

• Victoria – An influencer, model, and cam-girl studying Economics.

• Jada – A history enthusiast interested in archaeology, myths, and local legends. She studies History.

• Lucia – Sweet, bookish, and perhaps a little too innocent for the rest of the group. Her major is Biology.

• Sunny – A huge computer nerd and complete sweetheart who knows computers inside and out. Sunny studies Computer Science.

• Kerry – A confident film enthusiast with a serious love for horror movies. She studies Filmmaking.

• Trent – A football player and typical jock who has a softer side. He studies Business.

• Edmund – A romantic English exchange student with a poetic personality. His major is Literature.
