Something has clearly gone wrong at the museum. Crates are lying on their sides, while skulls, ribs, vertebrae, and other dinosaur bones are scattered all over the halls. With nobody else around to deal with the mess, the job falls to you — with a cat tagging along for company.

As the museum slowly gets cleaned up, putting each skeleton back together also uncovers new little secrets hidden around the building.

Sort, Identify, and Rebuild

Every bone starts out as “Unknown,” so figuring out where it belongs is part of the fun. Pick bones up from the floors, stairs, and the places where the overturned crates dumped them. Then work out which dinosaur they came from and find the correct spot on its skeleton.

Bones are placed individually, making the restoration process feel calm and satisfying. At first, telling them apart can take some effort. Keep working, though, and the differences become much easier to spot.

Each dinosaur has bones with their own colors, textures, signs of wear, and distinctive appearance. There are no skill trees or upgrade systems to worry about. Progress comes from simply becoming more familiar with the bones.

Make a Mess While Cleaning Up

Cleaning the museum doesn’t mean everything has to stay neat at DinoBones: Tidy Up the Museum. Crates can be opened, tipped over, or even thrown around to get the bones out.

That playful freedom gives the restoration work a nice change of pace. One moment the halls are a complete disaster; the next, a pile of scattered bones is slowly turning into a finished dinosaur.

The more skeletons that get assembled, the quicker bone recognition starts to feel. It is less about unlocking abilities and more about getting better through practice.
