Counter Clash keeps its strategy simple on the surface while giving plenty of room to experiment. Players can customise their factions, combine different troop types, find counters to enemy tactics, and even use the environment to set up nasty surprises.

Having trouble getting through a heavily fortified position? Send in the giants. Annoyed by enemy priests constantly healing their troops? The Poisoned Tips upgrade can turn those healers into a serious problem for their own side.

Shape Armies Your Way

There are 75 unique upgrades available for army customisation, and they can change how a faction approaches a battle.

Prefer playing defensively? Turn the castle itself into a weapon by giving it bomb attacks. Merchants can also fire a storm of arrows at enemies who try to harass them.

More aggressive players have plenty of options too. Parachute troops straight onto the frontline or use hurricanes to send incoming projectiles flying in another direction.

The result is a strategy system where the right upgrade can completely change the flow of a fight. Timing matters just as much as troop choice, especially when facing opponents who have built strong counters.

Three Factions, Three Battle Styles

Monceaux is a kingdom built around brave knights and powerful warriors. Its flexible troops, capable siege engines, and holy healing abilities make the faction fairly easy to pick up, while mastering all its options takes more work.

Fahad follows a very different path. This nomadic culture draws power from ancient elemental forces and brings fast, high-damage units together with powerful magic. Its armies are made for causing chaos and hitting hard at Counter Clash.

Then there are the URA, a republic driven by scientists and engineers. Their forces aren’t the fastest and don’t have the strongest defences, but they make up for those weaknesses with tactical tools and serious industrial firepower.
