Gladiator Roguelike Built Around Co-op Chaos

Shackled to fellow fighters, every battle becomes a test of coordination and survival. Use your chains, weapons, and whatever the arena has to offer to take down enemies, impress the bloodthirsty audience, and earn a shot at freedom. Between dangerous opponents and lasting injuries, making it through another day is never guaranteed.

Fight Dirty and Make the Arena Your Weapon

Combat in Chained Beasts is about more than swinging a sword. Hack away at your opponents, throw weapons from a distance, or turn the surroundings into part of your attack. Smash enemies with heavy urns, send them flying into spiked walls, or knock them straight into snake pits. Sometimes, throwing an enemy at an object works just as well as throwing the object at them.

Keep an eye on your weapons, though. Tossing your last one at a distant opponent can leave you scrambling when another fighter closes in. With so many ways to cause trouble, battles can get messy fast, and a little creativity often makes the difference between victory and defeat.

Chain Up, Work Together, and Take Down Bosses

Gather a group of up to four players and enter the arena bound together by chains. Working as a team opens up plenty of opportunities, but poor coordination can turn a simple fight into a complete disaster in Chained Beasts.

Get tangled around pillars, trip over one another, or accidentally ruin a perfectly good attack. On the other hand, well-timed movements can pull enemies off balance and give the whole team an advantage.

Injuries, Strange Side Effects, and Hard-Earned Progress

Surviving a fight doesn’t mean walking away unharmed. Each day can leave behind another painful reminder of what happened in the arena. A limp might slow movement, losing a left eye can make life harder, and disturbing hallucinations may leave a fighter swinging at things that aren’t even there at Chained Beasts. Potions offer some relief, but their side effects can introduce problems of their own. In some cases, surgery might be worth considering.

Fortunately, every run offers opportunities to grow stronger. Arena experience unlocks powerful skills that help fighters handle increasingly dangerous enemies. Winning over the audience can earn valuable support, while saved-up money can go toward better weapons and useful equipment. New characters with their own powerful abilities also become available, giving each run a fresh feel.
