The campaign picks up right where the first Boltgun left off, sending players into a series of dangerous new locations across the grimdark Warhammer 40,000 universe. Its branching, single-player campaign combines old-school first-person shooting with relentless action, giving players different paths to explore and plenty of heretics to eliminate in Warhammer 40000: Boltgun 2.

Malum Caedo returns as a formidable Sternguard Veteran, built for aggressive combat and relentless attacks. For a different approach, Nyra Veyrath brings the speed and agility of a battle-hardened Sister of Battle Celestian. Her fighting style focuses on quick movement and devastating attacks that leave enemies burning in her wake. Each character comes with distinct abilities, weapons, and combat options, making the choice between them more than a simple change of appearance.

The battle stretches across unfamiliar territory, with each location bringing its own challenges. Fight through the towering structures of a sprawling hive city at Warhammer 40000: Boltgun 2, push through dense mangrove swamps in a hostile jungle, and venture into the heart of the Ark of Omen. Every destination offers new threats to overcome as the mission unfolds.

Combat stays true to what made the original Boltgun so enjoyable: fast movement, heavy firepower, and enemies that rarely give players a moment to breathe in Warhammer 40000: Boltgun 2. Charge straight into the action with a lethal chainsword, blast through enemy ranks with a shotgun, or turn entire groups into burning wreckage with the Flamer. The expanding arsenal offers plenty of ways to deal with the growing Chaos threat.

As the weapons get deadlier, the opposition becomes more dangerous, too. Players will face enemies aligned with all four Chaos Gods: Nurgle, Tzeentch, Khorne, and Slaanesh. Bloodletters and their massive daemonic Juggernauts charge headlong into battle, bringing overwhelming force to every encounter.
