Her latest assignment takes her deep into a remote Victorian mansion hidden among the woods in The Crimson Hunt. The mission sounds simple: find Eleanor, a young woman who was kidnapped by an ancient vampire that has awakened once again.

The mansion quickly proves to be anything but a safe place. Its halls are crawling with vampires, ghouls, and other bloodthirsty creatures. Behind every door, another threat may be waiting, while traps and strange mechanisms make even moving through the building a challenge.

Eleanor is not completely helpless, though. After escaping her cell, she eventually crosses paths with Victoria. The two form an uneasy partnership, knowing that working together may be their only chance of getting out alive. As they push deeper into the decaying mansion, their pasts and the secrets surrounding the vampire become harder to ignore.

Fight, Explore, and Stay Alive

Survival depends on careful decisions. Ammunition is limited, healing supplies are hard to come by, and useful items cannot simply be wasted. Weapons and tools can be combined to deal with different enemies, but not every fight is worth taking head-on.

The third-person combat keeps encounters tense, with positioning and timing playing an important role. Grotesque enemies can behave unpredictably, forcing both characters to stay alert rather than relying on a single strategy.

The environments are just as dangerous as the creatures in The Crimson Hunt. Dark corridors, abandoned rooms, and decaying surroundings hide mechanical and environmental puzzles that must be figured out to move forward. Paying attention to the surroundings often matters just as much as having enough ammunition.

A Story Built Around Two Survivors

Victoria and Eleanor sit at the center of the story, with their relationship changing as the nightmare unfolds. Their choices, personal history, and growing emotional tension add another layer to the danger around them at The Crimson Hunt.

The journey can also be experienced through local split-screen co-op. A second player can join the adventure, making it possible to coordinate attacks, divide resources, and work through the mansion together. Facing the creatures alone is difficult enough, but surviving as a team brings its own challenges.
