his remaster is extremely good. Plays so much better than the Gamecube version, and that was already a very smooth and good experience. Far more than just a resolution bump as well. Every level has gotten a graphics overhaul, and the controls, and camera have been overhauled as well. Also included are some much-needed quality of life options, like assists that show you the best path to take, slow down time, and skip a level if you just can’t complete it. This is the absolute best version of Super Monkey Ball.

Quite the infuriating, yet satisfying game, and it’s fun to overcome a stage you thought to be impossible. we never played the original 2, only coming in with experience from banana blitz Wii, and I can see why people wanted the style of the older games to come back. It’s a hard yet rewarding kind of game, and you should pick this up if you are looking for a skill-based challenging game, that will put your coordination and temper to the test.

Pros of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania:

has all of the content from the first 2 SMB games and then some (lots of extra modes)
looks great visually
super fun to play, although frustrating at times (this is just the nature of the game)
no glitches that we have encountered thus far
