Super Kiwi 64 is a 3D-Platformer and Collect-a-Thon, with a low poly late 90s console look. Surprisingly fun, unironically has better movement and controls than most platformers these days. Feels super nice to just generally move around, which is vital to a good platforming experience. Great homage to old n64 games, the characters are super cute. The worlds were bigger and the game was longer, but it’s only 2.50. Definitely recommend!

The game also buries the lede a little by giving the player character all of their movement abilities from the get-go. It’s easy to cheese environment and platforming puzzles by attack-jumping into walls to climb, and the glide is so efficient for so long that you can collect most of the airborne ‘jiggies’ without activating the intended switches.

Pros of Super Kiwi 64:

Low poly late 90s retro looks.
Kiwi can jump, glide, corkscrew-attack and stick to walls in order to jump up almost every wall.
The levels can be played in any order, and not every level needs to be finished in order to collect enough to reach the ending.
Pros a bird with a long beak!
