Mysterious rifts are appearing throughout the Overworld, leading to a strange new dimension known as the Sift in Minecraft Dungeons II. This unexplored world is filled with dangerous enemies, hidden mysteries, and striking landscapes. The journey won’t stay within the familiar Overworld either. This time, the adventure reaches into places no hero has explored before.

The illagers have already set their plans in motion at Minecraft Dungeons II. Their growing power threatens both worlds, leaving heroes with a dangerous mission: fight back before their corruption spreads across the Overworld.

Build a Hero and Fight Your Way Forward

Combat takes center stage as a new and more demanding enemy force puts every hero’s skills to work. Battles can become chaotic fast, with waves of mobs and powerful opponents standing between the party and its goals.

A huge selection of weapons, armor, artifacts, and legendary gear gives plenty of room to shape a preferred playstyle. Different equipment combinations can be used to create a hero suited to the challenges ahead, whether the focus is on direct combat or a more customized approach.

The adventure can be played alone, or with friends. Parties of up to four players can join forces through couch co-op, online multiplayer, mixed co-op, or matchmaking in Minecraft Dungeons II. Having a full team also makes it easier to take on the tougher encounters waiting in the Sift.

Explore the Sift

The Sift is a brand-new dimension within the Minecraft universe and serves as one of the main destinations in this next chapter. Its unexplored areas offer unfamiliar locations, dangerous encounters, and plenty of reasons to keep moving forward at Minecraft Dungeons II.

The story also expands the Minecraft Dungeons saga beyond the Overworld. Forgotten locations, mysterious environments, and two worlds caught in the same conflict create a much larger adventure than before.

Instead of sticking with the usual pickaxe, it’s time to grab a sword and head straight into the action. The goal is to stop a new evil before it can unleash chaos across both worlds.

Minecraft Dungeons II Arrives in Fall 2026

The next chapter of Minecraft Dungeons is scheduled to launch in fall 2026. A new threat is preparing to descend upon the land and its inhabitants, bringing dangerous enemies and large-scale battles along with it.

There is also a bonus for players who experience both games. Playing Minecraft Dungeons I and II unlocks the Hero Cape, which can be used in Dungeons II as well as Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition.

With the Sift opening its rifts and the illagers preparing their next move, the next Minecraft Dungeons adventure is set to take the series somewhere much less familiar.
