Kewa can provide plenty of useful resources, but it cannot supply everything indefinitely. Space and essential materials will sometimes run short, making nearby planets valuable destinations for expansion. Establishing outposts gives your settlement access to additional supplies without putting too much pressure on Kewa’s fragile environment.

Timing matters, though. Unless a strong bond has been established with Kewa, predicting how long the Space Whale will remain in a particular star system can be difficult.
