Batomon Showdown is a creature-collecting PvP auto battler built around asynchronous battles, team building, and experimentation.

Build a Team That Breaks the Game
Pick a trainer, choose your Batomon, and put together a team designed to take on other players. There’s no need to rush, so each run gives plenty of time to test different combinations and find powerful synergies.
The team-building system gives plenty of room to experiment. Batomon, trainers, encounters, trinkets, and items can all be combined in different ways, opening up a huge number of possible builds. Some combinations can get seriously overpowered, especially once the right synergies start working together at Batomon Showdown.

Fight Players at Your Own Pace
Each battle can feel a little different because teams are created by other players. The asynchronous multiplayer system lets you go up against a wide range of setups without having to sit through a timed match.
There are no countdowns forcing quick decisions, either. Take the time needed to work out a strategy in Batomon Showdown, build something strong, and then put that team in front of other players to see whether they can find a way to beat it.
Every Batomon also has plenty of room to grow. Unique abilities, trinkets, and items can push individual creatures far beyond their starting potential. With enough experimenting, almost any Batomon can become a serious threat and play a major role in a powerful build.
Pick a Trainer and Find New Combos
Trainers add another layer to team building, with each one bringing their own special abilities and ways to shape a run. The roster ranges from unusual bug catchers and dragon whisperers to chefs capable of cooking new types onto Batomon.
The new region does start to feel repetitive fairly quickly, though. There appear to be fewer viable build paths, particularly during the early stages. Most runs seem to lean toward one of a few familiar approaches: spamming trinkets, focusing on knockouts, or using the “on victory” strategy while fighting monsters at Batomon Showdown.
The synergies are also fairly easy to spot, which can make missing the specific Batomon needed for a build feel especially punishing. Still, the stronger runs offer plenty of meaningful decisions, and watching a team gradually scale into something much more powerful is satisfying.

Features of Batomon Showdown:
- Sacrifice Short-Term Power for Bigger Gains
- One interesting part of team building is deciding what to do with the six available slots. Some Batomon can be used mainly to support the rest of the team by permanently boosting allies, generating money, or providing trinkets.
- Giving up an immediate source of fighting power for a creature that improves the team over time creates an interesting trade-off. It can make the early stages harder, but the long-term payoff can be worth it when the pieces finally come together.
- There are also Batomon capable of disabling enemy abilities in Batomon Showdown. That can completely shut down an opponent’s engine or take out an important carry, although finding the right target can feel like a bit of a guessing game.
