The journey leads through the war-ravaged Northern Kingdoms, where every region has its own atmosphere and dangers. Busy cities, isolated villages, forgotten ruins, and stretches of wild countryside make the open world feel varied and full of places worth exploring in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered.

A Story Filled With Danger

Geralt’s search for Ciri becomes even more urgent as the spectral Wild Hunt closes in on her. The pursuit takes him across the Continent, bringing encounters with new characters, difficult choices, dangerous creatures, and plenty of unexpected turns along the way.

There is more to the adventure than the main quest, too. Monster contracts, exploration, side stories, and the many problems scattered throughout the world give plenty of reasons to stray from the main path.

Fight Like a Witcher

Combat gives Geralt plenty of tools to work with. Swords are only part of his arsenal, with potions, bombs, witcher Signs, and other abilities available when facing monsters and human enemies.

The Remastered version also brings an upgraded skill system, improved combat, refreshed visuals, and other gameplay refinements in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered. These changes give the classic RPG a more modern feel while keeping the experience centered around Geralt’s abilities and the dangers he faces.

Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine

The Remastered release also includes two highly regarded expansions: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Both add substantial new adventures, characters, stories, and choices to Geralt’s journey.

Hearts of Stone introduces another memorable chapter, while Blood and Wine takes Geralt to Toussaint, a very different part of the Continent filled with its own conflicts and discoveries.

With both expansions included, the upgraded release offers a large amount of content alongside the main adventure. The hunt for Ciri, dangerous monsters, potions, contracts, and the looming threat of the Wild Hunt all come together in one massive journey across the Continent.

The Remastered update is available as a free upgrade for owners of the game and adds improvements across visuals, performance, and gameplay. With the two expansions included as well, there is plenty waiting for a return to Geralt’s path.
