It’s finally here, Super Woden GP lands and it’s leaving the world in awe. Old-fashioned isometric races made with great care and success, with curves (also difficult, that when you master them you enjoy), drifts, and a lot of classic-style cars.
What to say about Super Woden GP after all this time closely following the development … well, many things and all good. It is a long, fun game, with that simplicity and complexity in its control that only a good arcade can provide. You know, easy to play, difficult to master.
A great main mode where you can unlock and buy cars (as in the past!), When you enter the rally mode a new world opens up before you. Seasonal events guarantee bites and vices (at unhealthy levels, warning) with your colleagues and with the community.
we could elaborate a lot, with dozens of details, about how a single person can get a project like this out of nowhere, about the good quality of the dubbing, the music, the good taste with the design of the cars, and a thousand other things, but we are going to be concise, brief and sincere: get it.
Pros of Super Woden GP:
- Very satisfying retro-like (not retro) graphics. You can see the work behind it to offer a current product with classic reminiscences without having to go directly to pixel art.
- Very polished gameplay and with a fairly well-adjusted difficulty level. It will make it difficult for you, but it will not frustrate you.
- Seasonal events are a BRUTAL pique. You can spend hours and hours playing the same race just to beat the times of others.
- Quite a few different cars to unlock with some designs that will be very familiar to fans of the genre or rallying.
