If you like clicker/incremental type of games, this one is pretty good. It has many systems interacting with one another, making it interesting. The tutorial/onboarding is well done; it’s easy to understand what’s expected, and there isn’t much text to read before getting started. There are no performance issues, and it runs smoothly. The graphics fit the game, and the menu/UI is easy to navigate. Only one “end run” has been completed so far, which allows points to be spent for the next run. It felt rewarding to do so, and there’s plenty of fun to be had exploring further into Crownhold. The map expands, and progress isn’t restricted to a very small area with only numbers going up.

Crownhold feels bigger thanks to those details that the developer didn’t need to include. The same game could have been made on a single screen, but the developer opted to put in the effort to make things properly, which isn’t often seen in auto-clicker/incremental games. It feels original, and the kingdom theme is well exploited as resources and gold are built up, population is managed, ships are acquired to unlock trade, envoys arrive from distant kingdoms, and more. It’s great to see the effort that has gone into the game.
