The player takes the role of a college student who leaves for another city to carry out a secret investigation. Along the way, new women enter the story, and getting involved in their personal lives becomes part of the journey.

Story

Everything starts with an unexpected request from the protagonist’s father, a former police officer. Without offering much of an explanation, he sends his son to stay at the home of Eva, an old family acquaintance.

The situation feels strange from the beginning. There is little time to question it, though, as the maid, Nora, has already packed the luggage and is prepared to make the trip. After three days on the road, the two finally reach Eva’s house.

That is where things really begin. Old friends return, unfamiliar faces appear, and a series of unexpected experiences soon follow at Away From Home VN.

Settling into this unfamiliar life also raises some questions. Why did the father send his son so far from home? And why choose Eva’s house in particular? Could it really be nothing more than a favor involving an old friend, or is there another reason behind the decision?

Gameplay

This is a choice-based adult visual novel where decisions shape relationships and influence the romantic content that becomes available.

The story moves forward through illustrated scenes, dialogue, and player choices. Paying attention to those decisions can affect how relationships develop and which scenes are unlocked later.

There are 16 potential love interests in total. Three are connected to the main storyline, while the other 13 are optional relationships that become available depending on the choices made throughout Away From Home VN.

Not every decision has a major consequence. Some choices are mainly designed to introduce characters, reveal more about their personalities, or help establish the world around them. At the end of each episode, the important decisions made during that part of the story are summarized in Away From Home VN.

Player choices also determine what happens during most sexual scenes, giving some control over how those encounters play out.
