The story follows Amonar, a charming elf bard who avoids expulsion from the Aquilon Guild by accepting an unexpected assignment. Instead of losing his membership, he’s sent to help Zigfrid, a dwarf struggling to keep a nearly deserted guild branch running on a forgotten island chain. However, Amonar has very different plans for the place, and running a conventional adventurers’ guild isn’t one of them.
