Wintermoor Tactics Club PC Game 2020 review:
This is a cozy turn-based RPG about playing D&D after school after having snowball fights with an eclectic mix of school clubs.
The fast-paced combat and well-written conversation system pull you into this world of Dorklings and Chubby Paladins. The title is rife with 1980s references such as the defiant Jacob who constantly refers to military juntas, oppression and fascists. we really enjoyed the personalities the developers gave to each of the students, it helped give life to the school and added a much-needed element of human interest to the narrative
The Curses and Catacombs mini-game itself is a fantastic entry-level tactical game and serves as a great entry point to the turn-based strategy genre. While more experienced turn-based gamers will find it simplistic, it is still very enjoyable and thoroughly authentic to both the tabletop role play and turn-based strategy genres.
