Use your paddle to keep your ball airborne and dodge enemy bullets as you defeat cute enemies. Bounce and shoot your way through the various different biomes while acquiring powerful upgrades along the way! Great game! Super fun, fast, surprisingly difficult and complex gameplay within such a simple system. Really elegant design clearly taking influence from the likes of Downwell, SNKRX, and obviously Breakout (among others) produces a highly engaging experience. Recommended for anyone looking to kill a few hours.

Each upgrade feels significant while never making the game feel too easy. The game even has different loadouts you can unlock (weapons and perks) to make each run feel unique. That being said, the game is pretty difficult which might be off-putting to some players. I was barely able to beat the final boss on my second run and was delightfully surprised to unlock an even HARDER difficulty.

Only gripe I have is when you recover the ball after losing it, the game can trap you into dropping the ball at a location where a ton of enemies are firing bullets which can cause you to immediately take damage again. This could be fixed by either giving the player I-frames until the ball gets hit the first time, reloading the players ammo when the ball is lost, or having the ball follow the paddle as it’s dropping for the first time. Not a huge problem, but seems like an unnecessary frustration.
