A very well done mini golf game, simplistic but very clean, each course has its identity and it is very pleasant.

With the current state of the art, in our opinion, you can hardly make a mini-golf game better in VR. Each course (nine holes each) is well designed with beautiful sound effects and great music. Even if you are on the review map in the middle of the course the size of a doll’s house! Unfortunately, the multiplayer is only online.
This game is our new favorite/must-play VR title. we’ve played plenty of VR games over the nearly year and a half that we’ve owned it but somehow this game still makes itself known. It does the two things VR games always fail to do, have both lots of content and features AND have razor-tight design and base mechanics.
adore mini-golf IRL and simply this feels like mini-golf, the courses are varied with both an easy version for training and a hard version where the real challenge is at. Plus the collectables system of finding lost balls is both super fun and optional. Multiplayer is super fun too, both with mates and strangers.
Pros of Walkabout Mini Golf VR:
- Immaculate putting physics
- Good controls & options (lock ball position in the playspace, smooth turn, snap turn, grip to putt, and more)
- Quality of life features; putter can pass through edges, putter length is automatically adjusted, teleporting to the ball faces you in the direction you would typically want to hit & more
- Fun and well-designed courses, good variety with additional hard versions of each course
