This novel offers an “insider” view of the traditional vampire web of connections and interactions that all VtM board players have done.
Now they can be in the shoes of mere mortals and look at it all through their eyes. It’s quite creepy to realize what is happening and to what extent in this small town, to guess which clan the vampire encountered belongs to and what disciplines he was currently using. The writing style conveys the atmosphere of good horror.
The game itself is shorter than Night Road, and, apparently, due to this, it is much more replayable. In Night Road, you could have time to pump yourself all the way to the social branch, and the investigation and the combat, and at the end just competently press X to win. Here you will have time to upgrade several skills up to 1 point or one thing all the way. Prices have become higher, not the N * level, but the N * desired level, i.e. for 2 attribute points you need to pay 10 exp. Which, in principle, is logical, we play as a mere mortals, and it is very expensive to download them in a board game.
Pros of Vampire The Masquerade Out for Blood:
