A great new game from the creators of Darkness Within and Conarium. we beta tested it. The plot is very dynamic, the game throws us from one location to another literally every five minutes. You find yourself on another planet, then in a stone jungle, then in a nightmare, then in a post-apocalyptic city. Locations change very quickly, in some places you need to stop and think, solve the riddle.
The hero will be able to solve simple puzzles and examine documents like in Konarium. An important part of the gameplay will be interaction with the scanner built into the brain – it will lead the hero to the goal and show clues that are invisible to the eye. It will be possible to study corpses and objects on them (similar to the mechanics in games Holmes, but in a different way).
Finally, the hero will be able to play games inside the game (and there will be at least three of them), control complex mechanisms, and even cook something. For lovers of this business, you can find secret items and get achievements. There will be a lot of raft twists, interesting lore and, of course, atmospheric lyrics and insanely beautiful music that somehow surprisingly combines Lovecraft’s ritual motives and cyberpunk electric exoticism. The main character’s room takes us back to the days of the Darkness Within – it’s really cozy in it and you want to spend time. The guys did almost everything on their own, and this is doubly amazing: after two years of work, each of us will be able to live in a strange and bright world of the future, which, we hope, will never become reality.
Pros of Transient:
- Tributes and easter eggs to the Providence writer are present in large quantities.
- To this is added the “encounter” with the cyberpunk world now known to all: viewers, hacking, terminals, neon lights, grafts, glitches, etc.
- The only defects are the low duration (less than 5 hours) and the very low level of challenge with puzzles and mini-games all quite easy.
