A game where you can enjoy the clash between stamina and skill. After learning your skill set with Easy. Surpass with Level Up and Random Spell Cards. It is a shooting roguelike. No passive growth factor!
Survive as fairies and familiar faces storm into the Scarlet Devil Mansion Library to steal Patchouli’s most precious belongings!
Vampire Survivor + bullet hell is as good as it sounds(if it doesn’t sound good to you then don’t even bother lol), and the hexagon upgrade grid does offer a bit of depth. However, the game currently have very limited content. Aside from the starting spell cards(weapons in Vampire survivors), there are only 3 triggers, so the build you can actually make is very limited. Moreover, the bosses only have 1 or 2 attack pattern, and there is only one map in the game, so once you have played through the hardest difficulty, there is little reason to go for another run.
Some people may think that it’s a Touhou secondary creation with hundreds of Vampire Survivors-like changes, but it has solid original elements and a different way of enjoying it.
Pros of Touhou Library Survivors:
- Upgrade! Use a deep and unique system to upgrade Patchouli’s spell cards. Go exponential by attaching modifiers that add ricochets, poison, piercing, extra projectiles or even additional attacks! But make sure you balance these against Patchouli’s waning stamina!
- Difficulty: Four difficulty settings that increase the intensity of enemy bullet patterns!
