This horror game will be a good challenge for fans of old-school games, with puzzles and an inconvenient camera, cartridges worth their weight in gold, and saving only on records that still need to be looked for.

Nowadays there are very few such games released, so copy is extremely rare. In appearance, the game is very similar to SONG OF HORROR, which I already reviewed, but I liked this one a little more. The game also resembled a hardcore adventure game with a sexy android Haydee.
Carolyn’s girlfriend receives a strange letter from William Wildberger’s mansion, which has turned into a clinic, about the disappearance of two twin girls. Having gone there, she gets inside, but someone stuns her with a blow to the head, after which she wakes up naked in some kind of bath with a tube in her mouth, connected to a strange apparatus. And looking in the mirror, she discovers that she also lost her eye. The further game takes place in this huge mansion, we are trying to get out and find out what happened to the girls. On the way, we collect notes from the diary of the owner of the mansion and his wife, as well as some other participants in the story.
There are short cut-scenes, although the graphics are not the best. The gloomy atmosphere throughout the game. As such, there are no screamers here, the scariest screamer is a friendly NPC priest who can magically appear in the room. And so you are more afraid that you will die out of the blue and you will replay the last hour of the game.
Pros of Tormented Souls:
- A good atmospheric horror movie
- A decent duration that will appeal to connoisseurs of the old school
- For lovers of casual games
